| On the 6.2L the hard starting usually goes back to something electrical. If the glow plug system is working properly - check for proper cranking RPM. Install a compression gauge in one cylinder, crank engine for 10 sec. and count compression strokes x 12 = RPM. Cranking RPM should be more than 200 RPM. The (1993) 6.5L has had a typical
hard to start problem. This is sometimes attributed to a faulty
Head & Rotor in the injection pump.
