This information is mainly for AOL USERS.......If you are using another service and are having this problem make sure that you are not viewing our web page with COMPRESSED Graphics.

On AOL when you first start using their service or have reinstalled or are upgrading AOL the WEB GRAPHICS are set to COMPRESSED... While this is a nice option to minimize the file size of the pictures for faster web page loading, the quality of the picture is greatly reduced. Some of our pictures have text on them and if you are using COMPRESSED graphics the text can be hard or impossible to read...

TO CHANGE TO UNCOMPRESSED GRAPHICS (This can be performed offline)

* For AOL version 3.0 (Windows 95 version) Click on MEMBERS on the top bar
* For AOL version 4.0/5.0 (Windows 95/98 version)  Click the MY AOL Icon on the top bar

Select PREFERENCES

Click on the icon that says WWW

Click on the tab located in the top right corner that says WEB GRAPHICS

Uncheck the box that allows you to use COMPRESSED graphics

REMINDER: You will need to clear your Cache (delete the files that are created on your hard drive where the web pages and graphics are stored) and then restart your computer to make the changes to work.
