Oil Pressure Gauge (All Applications) When installing the oil pressure gauge there may be a couple of good places to install the sender depending on the application. On any application the sender can be "T"eed into the line at the oil sending unit in order to get an acceptable reading. This will probably require various fittings in order to plumb into the line. Our sources tell us
that there may be a pressure port just above the oil filter in
the oil filter housing that can also be used for this purpose.
If there is a 1/8" NPT allen head plug in the filter housing
we recommend contacting a dealer to insure that this is a pressure
port. Once that fact is confirmed, this port may be used for the
sender. |
