Installation Ford 7.3L D.I. NOTE: We now supply the specialty tubing kit offered by Banks for the Powerstroke with the tee fitting. The Isspro tubing kit requires drilling a tap and uses different instructions. 1. Locate the rubber hose (see pic. below) connecting the intake manifold on the passenger side of the engine to the manifold pressure sensor mounted on the firewall. 2. Cut through this hose at a point 3" below the sensor. 3. Install a 1/8" hose by 1/8 NPT tee fitting and clamp the hoses on. 4. Install fitting to the 1/8'' NPT connection and connect hose to fitting making sure that the hose fits snug but does not pinch.
